A walk down memory lane...

Yesterday we went to Penn Yan to meet Thomas for dinner, he was working late so it was the perfect excuse to go to Seneca Farms and get some corn fritters.

Dinner was followed by a visit to Indian Pines Park for some fun on the playground and a walk along Keuka Lake.

After our visit with daddy I decided to take the kids for "a walk down memory lane." Thomas and I bought our first house in 2004, right outside of Penn Yan on Ferguson Corners Rd. We lived there for about two years and during that short time we enjoyed country living to it's fullest.

Looks like it needs a shutter and some new paint!

There were countless blackberry bushes behind the barn, I picked so many during the summer that my hands were stained for weeks. We made blackberry jam and blackberry wine.

Thomas and I found many treasures in that old red barn.

Kidder Rd. was our favorite place to take the dogs for a walk.

Seven years ago I was walking down this same road with Winston and Ada.

So much changes in a short time.

Strawberry Picking

A last minute trip to Tomion's Farm for opening day of strawberry picking turned out to be a great way for the Dunham cousins to spend a sunny afternoon. The endless rows of juicy, ripe berries made for a delcious way to spend quality time together. After filling a total of nine quarts there were several red stained little hands and countless seeds stuck between our teeth.

Natalie, Ryland and Avery became expert pickers, only picking the red ones and always stepping carefully between the rows.

Baby Ethan slept quietly the entire time, maybe next year he'll be big enough to join in on the fun!

Natalie did such a great job posing for pictures before the show. Honest to God, she came up with all of the poses on her own!

When Natalie is really concentrating on her moves she likes to stick her tongue out :)

What amazes me about Natalie is her confidence, how she never expresses any worry about going on stage and performing.
